Delivery of Paired Hyperspectral VNIR/SWIR Imaging System Completed

Calgary, September 2, 2011 – ITRES is pleased to announce the recent delivery of another combined hyperspectral VNIR-SWIR imaging system, this time to CEKE Spatial Info-Tech Co. Ltd. of Beijing, China.

The delivery of high-performance CASI-1500 and SASI-600 airborne hyperspectral imaging systems to CEKE Spatial Info-Tech Co. Ltd. was formally completed in July with the conclusion of operations, processing, and calibrations training at the customer’s facilities in Beijing.

The delivery included a POS AV 410 precision GPS/IMU, racking system, ITRES’ precision geocorrection processing suite, and VNIR + SWIR hyperspectral sensor calibration system complete with SpaRCal (Spectral and Radiometric Calibration) software. Performing their own sensor calibrations will provide CEKE with greater control over the long-term performance of their imagers, as well as minimize disruption to their wide-ranging environmental mapping projects.
