This sample flythrough video, courtesy JALBTCX, represents a high resolution, hyperspectral/Lidar data drape.
JALBTCX (Joint Airborne Lidar Bathymetry Technical Center of Expertise) flew their rapid response CHARTS survey mapping system over the devastation in the New Orleans, Louisiana area after hurricane Katrina hit in 2005. CHARTS consists of a wide array CASI-1500 imaging sensor from ITRES fused to a SHOALS-3000 Lidar topographic/bathymetric mapping instrument from Optech, Inc. This fused survey system resulted from a collaborative sensor development program between the three groups, led by ITRES.
This particular hyperspectral CASI-1500 dataset was acquired using a 1m resolution, 36 spectral band configuration.
