CASI 550

CASI 550 - VNIR Spectrographic Imaging System

Our most compact VNIR spectrographic imaging system provides you with higher resolution, faster scanning, plus the highest sensitivity of any instrument in its class. Our new custom sensor array is designed to optimize sensitivity over the entire available spectum.

This new sensor has improved sensitivity by a factor of 3 in the blue end of the spectrum, far beyond what is possible with a standard sensor! This means that your images will be the brightest that they can be, providing fine detail and allowing you to operate under conditions that would challenge other instruments. This simple fact can save you days on acquisition projects, many hours of processing time, and many thousands of dollars. The CASI-550 employs the same proven design that has been refined since 1989 with the original CASI product lines. The instrument software allows you to easily set the CASI-550 to record imagery with any configuration of spectral bands that you want. With a Windows user interface, SCSI data drives, and full one-on-one support from Itres, you can be sure that your CASI-550 will provide the finest spectral imagery available in an affordable and compact camera.
